AAREA | Student Achievement
& Excellence Awards

hayden[creative] and African American Regional Educational Alliances | AAREA worked closely developing the individual award category ID Marks combing all 4 to create the event ID. produce materials for the 'African American Student Achievement & Excellence Awards' awards for several years. This has included branding, designing marketing, promotional, print/e-advertisements, signage, creating the award medals as well as producing a number of ancillary event elements.
The AASA&EA Doubloon Project
One of the most accomplished and deliverable-satisfied items we ever produced is the African American Student Achievement & Excellence Award Medallion. It felt awesome taking delivery, opening the super heavy box (of 300), hearing the ginglin’ as I poured them on a table (to inspect) and while inspecting seeing a totally original gold(-insh)doubloon — [creative] by hayden, for reals.

Pirate Booty.

The Event BRAND
hayden[creative] had the privilege of working with RTFisher & AAREA to establish the initial look/feel of this awards event that focuses on Bay Area African-American Student Achievement & Excellence.
This event is traditionally held at Bay Area venues welcoming hundreds of Families, Students and Educators.
However, during that year of required ‘social distancing’ a ZOOM based virtual award event was developed.
We provided a digital program to attendees at the event and then a second revised version, after the event, that included video links to most event sessions.
