
InLight
Working with David and Jane Melone, the Founders of InLight Wellness Systems, was one of the great pleasures of our professional career.
Having known and worked with David & Jane for a decade prior to being offered the position of Creative Director it was an easy decision to make when David reached out and asked if I would like to help him build a brand. We worked together a fantastic 5 years, evolving as we grew, until the company was purchased and continues to expand providing the very best in Polychromatic Light Therapy devices to wellness professionals and end users alike.
I was fortunate to be responsible for our initial brand development as well as indirectly involved with the re-branding that exists to this day.

Working with this Class II medical device manufacturer our initial responsibilities were creating an entity ID mark (logo), developing a brand style guide to standardize and provide guidelines for use of the new brand,
and designing print and digital support collateral.
Additionally, responsibilities included managing multiple Social Media channels, design and management of the corporate website (WordPress) and collaborating with contract illustrators, photographers and videographers.
During our time with InLight we had the opportunity to guide the company through a rebranding process (In Light Wellness Systems > InLight Medical) that included an evolved entity ID mark (logo) and application of the new ID to everything from product labeling, through Authorized Representative sales collateral to customer support/reference materials.


Brand Elements Sheet
The above Brand Elements sheet was developed to ensure all Authorized Representatives, Partners and Vendors had access to approved Brand Elements for promotions and marketing distributed in the field.

Marketing Materials
InLight Wellness system package/prodcut 1-sheets, delivered as PDF files (with customizable fields) provided the sales team with branded marketing collateral that they could further customize with Authorized Representative contact information and Calls-to-Action (CTAs).


Special Projects
Developing materials to support special initiatives, like the InLights4Vets.com project that provided the InLight devices to vets at a significant discount, might necessitate anything from a digital 1-Sheet, to an entire suite of marketing collateral (i.e. Digital 1-Sheets, Social Media Marketing materials or an entire additional website).

Retractable Banners
Retractable banners were a great way to provide information and generate interest at events.

InLight Device Manuals
The device manual was an important resource for end-users once they acquired an InLight system.

Brilliant Light Energy...
The InLight Wellness ID mark, and appropriate branding, were applied to digital/printed materials, packaging and device labeling.

The inLight Medical ID mark and updated branding were applied to all produced materials after a very successful brand refresh.

Marketing Materials
Applying the new brand to existing marketing collateral, educational content, digital resources and ultimately updating packaging/labeling for the entire product line was a significant undertaking.

Event Specific Design
Multiple times a year inLight would host educational and sales events. Each event would have an identity and theme with supporting materials.

Social Media Marketing
It was common to feature monthly sales/educational specials which were supported via social media.

Product Rebranding
The product line labeling systems were updated to match the new inLight Medical brand look/feel.

Retractable Banners
Retractable banners were frequently used by the sales team for health & wellness events, as well as polychromatic light therapy practitioners with established light therapy studios.


Additional Digital & Print Materials
inLight Medical often provides support materials, print collateral and signage to facilitate sales efforts.
